Active/Older Adults with Linda is If you haven’t exercised in a while and would like a challenging but gentle exercise class to get in shape, try this class. This class is designed with easy-to-follow moves (with or without a chair) and optional to use props (straps, light weights and balls). The emphasis on increasing flexibility, strength, range of motion, overall body conditioning and balance. The format of the class includes a cardio warm‐up with breathing practice, Yoga stretching, main theme of the day, final stretch/balance exercises and conclude with guided relaxation. Learn how to extend your health span. Come join the fun and get moving.
Beginner Yoga with Alicia is a 50-minute holistic yoga class based on the chakras, koshas asana and pranayama. What does this mean? Using the energy system of the chakras and the sheaths of the koshas found within the body, creating an awareness and awakening through the breath and easy (beginning) postures followed by breathing techniques and closed with meditation.
Body Awareness with Alicia is a 50-minute strength training class that is suited to the individual participant and their current practice, with the use of body weight or light hand weights. The use of support equipment and multiple levels of weights and mats is available for anyone in need. The class promotes flexibility, strength, core stabilization, range of motion (ROM), proprioception and stretching.
Cardio Strength Intervals with Kate is a total body class that uses your own body weight and equipment to strengthen your muscles with quick cardio intervals in between. Rev up your metabolism and burn calories while having tons of fun! All fitness levels are welcome!
HIIT with Ashley is a faster paced high intensity interval class for your entire body. Designed for students of all levels and will turbo-fire your metabolism. All levels welcome!
Intervals with Shaune may be a mixture of body weight exercises, TRX, free weights, balance, and low/high impact functional moves set to specific time intervals. All levels can participate! All levels welcome!
Pilates with Stephanie is a low impact full body exercise routine. Using only a yoga mat and body weight movements you will go through a specific order of exercises created by Joseph Pilates, founder of the Pilates method. With a focus on strengthening your core while toning your arms and legs. These Pilates exercises will also improve your mobility and flexibility which greatly aid in injury prevention! Pilates puts an emphasis on breathing, balance, coordination, and concentration. You will learn how to achieve a mind-body connection and establish a strong powerhouse! All fitness levels are welcomed as every exercise can be modified or increased in difficulty to adapt to everybody!
Silver Sneakers Classic with Judy will have you moving to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscle strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a Silver Sneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is used for seated exercises and standing support. This class can be adapted by the student depending on their fitness level and abilities. It is suitable for beginning to intermediate skill levels.
Silver Sneakers Yoga & Stability with Shaune is designed to help you become stronger and improve balance, as well as moving through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. The movements taught in class focus on specific exercises to improve strength and power around the ankle, knee and hip joints, while improving your reaction time. Chair support is offered so you can perform a variety of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity. This class is suitable for nearly every fitness levels.
Silver Sneakers Classic with Jody offers standing, low-impact choreography alternated with standing upper-body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a Silver Sneakers ball. A chair is available for support. This class is suitable for nearly every fitness level and can be adapted depending on the skill of individual participants.
Tabata Fusion with Ashley A balanced fusion of cardio and strength training awaits you in this invigorating session! This session seamlessly integrates bodyweight exercises, bands, balls, and barre techniques. Dive into the intensity of 6 high-energy 4-minute Tabata’s, featuring 20 seconds of invigorating activity followed by a brief 10-second rest. Between Tabata’s, indulge in a rejuvenating extended rest and stretch to enhance flexibility. The class ends with a targeted core session, slowing easing your body into a gradual deceleration, combining gentle stretches and controlled breathing to promote recovery and flexibility. Leaving you empowered and energized.
Total Body Circuit with Deb is a 45-minute resistance training circuit class that will build strength in all major muscle groups in the upper body, lower body, and core. Suitable for all levels. Chairs welcome.
Total Body Strength with Annette targets all major muscle groups. This class utilizes free weights, resistance loops, and your own body weight to perform both upper and lower body moves to strengthen and tone muscles. Core work is included along with a stretch at the end. All levels are welcome!
TRX with Deb is a form of suspension training that uses body weight exercises to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. It requires the use of the TRX Suspension Trainer, a performance training tool that leverages gravity and the user’s body weight to complete the exercises.
Yoga with Jeanine is a class focused on stretching all areas of the body, while releasing stress and tension. Appropriate for beginners and experienced students who simply prefer to move at a more comfortable pace.
